„Tree of Sounds“ is a type of artistic-technical system that forms the basis for interactive sound installations, which uses haptic elements (push buttons) to create connections between sounds and people that become „visible“ in an audio-visual way. This construction was presented for the first time in the exhibition Connection-Confection-Confession @ Atelier Frankfurt. The „Tree of Sounds“ also serves as a basic element of the artistic-technical methodology for further installations and further developments of future works, dealing with a wide variety of issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One aspect explored using this construction is how sound can serve as a medium for personal expression and communal resonance.<\/p>\n\n\n

„Tree of Sounds“ goes in exchange with KlangStimme from Neuspektiven 02 Mainz<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Under the artistic direction of Abelha Supers\u00f3nica, sounds were created in August 2022 that reflected the emotions and themes of visitors to Neuspektiven 02<\/em> at Goetheplatz in Mainz. These individual audio memories of a place were subsequently transported to Frankfurt am Main, where they immersed visitors of the Open Ateliers<\/em> exhibition in November 2022 in a new soundscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The installation bridges the past and the present: while the original sounds evoke emotions and memories tied to a specific place, new compositions\u2014and consequently, new memories\u2014emerge at a different location through the reactions of active participants and listeners. This fusion inspires and creates space for transformation. Visitors can activate the sounds and experience how individual expressions blend into a collective soundscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The installation is both a work of art and a field for scientific exploration, examining how sound influences emotional experiences and fosters interpersonal resonance. Tree of Sounds<\/em> powerfully demonstrates how sound can be used as a tool for self-awareness and shared experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unter der k\u00fcnstlerischen Leitung von Abelha Supers\u00f3nica wurden im August 2022 Kl\u00e4nge geschaffen, die die Emotionen und Themen der Besucher:innen des Neuspektiven<\/strong> 02 auf dem Goetheplatz in Mainz widerspiegelten. Diese individuellen Audioerinnerungen eines Ortes wurden anschlie\u00dfend nach Frankfurt am Main transportiert, wo sie die Besucher:innen der Ausstellung Open Ateliers<\/em> im November 2022 in ein neues Klangbild eintauchen lie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Installation verbindet Vergangenes mit Neuem: W\u00e4hrend die urspr\u00fcnglichen Kl\u00e4nge Erinnerungen an Emotionen und Erinnerungen eines Ortes wachrufen, entstehen an einem neuen Ort durch die Reaktion der aktiv Teilnehmenden und Zuh\u00f6renden neue Kompositionen und damit auch neue Erinnerungen. Diese Verschmelzung schafft Inspiration und er\u00f6ffnet Raum f\u00fcr Ver\u00e4nderung. Hier k\u00f6nnen Besucher:innen die Kl\u00e4nge aktivieren und erleben, wie sich individuelle Ausdrucksformen zu einem kollektiven Klangbild vereinen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Installation ist zugleich ein k\u00fcnstlerisches Werk und ein Feld f\u00fcr wissenschaftliche Forschung: Sie untersucht, wie Klang auf das emotionale Erleben wirkt und welche zwischenmenschlichen Resonanzen dabei entstehen. „Tree of Sounds“ zeigt eindrucksvoll, wie Kl\u00e4nge als Werkzeug zur Selbstwahrnehmung und f\u00fcr gemeinschaftliche Erfahrungen genutzt werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
