In my artistic research, I explore sound as something that does not simply emerge, but is actively produced\u2014through action, through the body, and through technological conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My first project, Musical-craft-based creativity as a support for coping with life<\/em>, is situated within a social science context and investigates the effectiveness of sound as a resource for coping processes. It focuses on accessible, hands-on approaches: building simple instruments, collective experimentation, and experiencing self-efficacy through sonic practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Klangbewegung \u2013 Haptic Performance Art between Interface and (Body-)Medium<\/em> shifts this inquiry into a performative artistic context. Here, sound emerges through the interplay of movement, touch, and presence. The body no longer acts merely as an executing element, but as a medium that shapes, carries, and makes sound perceptible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In my current research project Embodied Bytes<\/em>, the focus turns to digital technologies. The body is understood as an interface\u2014an active, embodied agent in the process of sound creation. In interaction with digital systems, new forms of control, resistance, and shaping emerge, renegotiating the relationship between human, machine, and sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The three projects set distinct emphases and open up different approaches to sound\u2014from social practice to haptic-performative research and current inquiries at the intersection of body and digital technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
