Research-project „KlangBewegung“ – KlangBewegung \u2013 A Synergy of Sound, Movement, and Technology<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The research project addresses the body as an interface at the intersection of art and technology.
With the media sound and movement I explore the potential of artistic-aesthetic experience and the formation of a (creative) community through artistic and social processes.
Using an experimental approach and interdisciplinary approaches, I examine a wide variety of materials, spatial constellations and settings for their effects. Key aspects include: interaction, haptics, physicality, \u201cflow\u201d experience in the artistic process, creative and social negotiation processes, as well as sensory perception during production and reception.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

KlangBewegung<\/strong> is an innovative research project at the intersection of art and technology, where the human body takes center stage as both an interface and a medium of expression. Initiated in 2023, the project explores the transformative potential of sound and movement as tools for artistic-aesthetic experience and the formation of creative communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through an experimental and interdisciplinary lens, KlangBewegung<\/strong> investigates the interplay of materials, spatial dynamics, and sensory perception. It invites participants into an open artistic research space where sound and movement are intricately linked. By employing cutting-edge tools such as the MIDI controller Playtron<\/em> and voltage-controlled sensors, the project transforms touch and movement into immersive soundscapes. Conductive materials, ranging from human skin to plants, create tactile, interactive experiences, redefining the body as a dynamic, living instrument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The topic was also explored in greater depth as part of my master’s thesis, „KlangBewegung \u2013 Haptic Performance Art Between (Body) Medium and Interface.“<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rooted in the principles of haptic performance art and expanded upon in the artist\u2019s Master\u2019s thesis, the project embodies a unique blend of artistic and scientific inquiry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
